Hundreds of hilarious comedians have performed at 'Comedy at Club 54' over the last 14 years. Some of the funniest names in the business have graced our stage in Burlington. The following photos and bios are some of the comics who perform at our club.

Having trained with "Second City" in Toronto and Hamilton's Players Guild, Ben Guyatt began his career as a professional comedian in 1980. Ben has performed in many hundreds of club, corporate, and TV shows over the last 20 years.
As a Master of Ceremonies there are few that can come close but unknown to many people, Ben Guyatt can also perform great stand-up comedy with his razor sharp tongue and hilarious interactive approach.

Craig MacLachlan is a veteran of the Club, Campus and bar circuit of North America.

Having performed from coast to coast to coast, Craig is a favorite of the Comedy Club scene. He can be seen on the Comedy Network and has appeared in numerous films, including the "Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy", " The Stupids" and " The Santa Clause" to name a few.

His ability to work a crowd is amazing, with lightening quick wit and his observations on life and love and all the hell that goes with it, nothing is safe or Taboo.

Wes Zaharuk brings new meaning to the word "funny." Using his off-beat sense of humour and wacky inventions he releases an unbridled hilarity using props such as vacuums, whips, and blowers. The only thing you can expect from Wes is the unexpected! A veteran of night clubs, concerts, and corporate functions, Wes wows audiences with his crazy antics and comical crusades. He has performed around the world and in Las Vegas. If you like laughter and off-the-wall excitement - you won't want to miss this dangerous mind in action.

Steve Levine is a stand-up comedian and actor who headlines at comedy clubs across Canada. He has appeared in several TV productions including CBC's Comics and in Montreal's Just for Laughs International Comedy Festival. Steven is also a favourite with the armed forces, corporate clients, and universities.

As a comedian Evan Carter has been called "a young Bill Cosby". Evan spends his time observing the world through his eyes, the eyes of a father, husband, son and friend. His likes, dislikes and especially what confuses him provide an endless source of fascination and material. If you're looking for a comedian who will come out and attack the audience with insults and abusive language you can stop reading right now. But if you want a stand-up comedian who allows the audience to sit back relax and have a good hard laugh at life then you've come to the right place. It's not unusual to hear comments like "that happened to me the other day", "my kids do that all the time", "my husband/wife does that to me too, I thought I was the only one". Well you're not, and comedian Evan Carter is here to let you know and that it's okay to laugh about it.

A big part of Evan Carter's career credits include the following film and television work: "COMICS!", The Howie Mandel Show, Street Legal, Night Heat, Friday Night! with Ralph Benmergui, An Evening at the Improv, The Alan Thicke Show, as well as currently being a host on the Canadian Home Shopping Network. In concert, he has appeared along side such acts as Gladys Knight, Dionne Warwick, Marvin Gaye, Fats Domino and Air Supply. His comedy club approaches run the gamut from The Improv in Los Angeles to Catch A Rising Star in New York, and all points in between.He's funny, he's entertaining, he's the very talented Evan Carter.

Kenny Robinson has long been considered Canada's most socially relevant comedian.

He has won rave reviews and gained an avid following all across Canada and the U.S. for his compelling style of social commentary. He is slick, topical, quick-witted, cutting-edge and pulls no punches on issues he feels strongly about. His act can best be described as the perfect blend between humor and humanity.

Kenny has been performing as a stand-up comedian and actor for more than 25 years. A native of Winnipeg, he has headlined at comedy clubs throughout Canada and the U.S., and has been featured in nearly 30 different television programs and movies. Robinson has earned accolades as the creator, writer and host of the edgy late-night series After Hours with Kenny Robinson on the Comedy Network. He also brings his irreverent wit and keen political insight to his current role as co-host of the Morning Rush, a weekday program on Toronto radio station Flow 93.5 FM. On the stand-up scene, Robinson has earned a reputation for fostering cultural diverse talent. As founder, producer and host of the immensely popular Nubian Disciplines of Pryor All-Black Comedy Review, he has helped to provide a launching pad for such emerging performers as Gavin Stephens, Ron Josol and Russell Peters. He has also been a talent consultant for Montreal's International Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. On stage, Robinson has performed alongside the likes of Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Eugene Levy and Norm McDonald. His screen career, meanwhile, has included an appearance in the Showtime television movie Soul Food and the PAX TV series Doc. Robinson also created and co-produced the Gemini Award nominated CBC Special Thick and Thin with Ronnie Edwards.

Kristeen von Hagen has been hailed as one of the Top 30 Power Women in Canada by Elle Magazine alongside such entertainers as Avril Lavigne, Sarah Polley, and Wrestling Diva Trish Stratus. She was the recipient of a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Stand-up of 2002 and recently toured Western Canada with Puppetry of the Penis; not as the main attraction, of course, but she is a fantastic fluffer.

Kristeen is one of the most polished & talented young comics on the comedy scene today. She is a smart, sophisticated comedian with a contemporary twenty-something point of view. In the last six years, starting out at age 19, Kristeen has amassed many TV credits and garnered much media attention.

This past summer she appeared at the Just For Laughs Festival on the CBC TV GALA. She recently had her own highly-rated Comedy NOW! episode on CTV and The Comedy Network and other notable appearances include: The Just for Laughs Festival's Comedy Night in Canada Competition, March of Dames Festival (all-women comedy fest) and Cream of Comedy on The Comedy Network. She also excels at sketch; she wrote & performed in CBC's SketchCom with troupe Pale By Comparison and has written for This Hour Has 22 Minutes. Kristeen also received two Canadian Comedy Award nominations in 2001 for Outstanding New Sketch Troupe and Best Female Stand-up.

"Mr. Rubber Face"Terry Gillespie is a highly versatile comedian and actor with over 17 years of experience from stand up comedy to theater to motion pictures. Terry has been a regular on the the stand up comedy circuit and appeared on many televised stand up comedy shows. Born and raised in Philadelphia Comedian / Actor Terry has headlined comedy clubs in Los Angles, Seattle, Boston and New York. He is a regular at Dangerfields in New York City.

Comedian Roger Chandler has opened for Jerry Seinfield, Howie Mandel, and the Nylons. His act features a combination of sight gags, one-liners, and jokes with a smooth familiarity. The Vancouver SUN said: "Intelligent, redeeming social value, but mostly, good fun".

Whether expounding on the trials and tribulations of marriage and the complications of subsequent single life, or talking about his childhood, singing questionable camp songs, or maybe blasting into his blues classic "Upper middle class, white ass, suburban, just moved to the better part of town blues", D.C. Malone has put together an incredibly entertaining show filled with songs and stories directly inspired by his own fascinating life. Everyone can find something they relate to in D.C.'s show. His ease and likeability on stage makes you feel like you're watching a friend.In D.C.'s own words, "Hey, comedy for you, therapy for me", and it is great comedy!

Perry is a regular in the stand-up comedy scene performing at such clubs as The Laugh Resort, The Alt Comedy Club and Tim Sims Playhouse -Second City in Toronto as well as at the Melrose Improv and The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles.

Perry was recently seen as Bonhomme the Quebec Winter Carnival mascot on NBC's Late Nite with Conan O'Brien. Perry's other film and television appearances include Toronto 1's The Toronto Show, Blue Murder, Wonderland, two appearances on The Comedy Network's The Gavin Crawford Show , CTV's Comedy Inc., The Associates and P.R.. He has hosted YTV's Snit Station, was featured in Cream of Comedy in his sketch duo Nugmuttar and appeared twice on Elvira Kurt's Adventures in Comedy. Perry has also appeared in the feature films The Tuxedo starring Jackie Chan and Jennifer Love Hewitt, and The In-Laws with Michael Douglas and Albert Brooks.

Whether doing stand-up, sketch or improv, Perry is a favourite around Toronto. His sketch duo Nugmutter performed over 100 shows in their first two years together. Their clever writing and strong presence earned them a nomination for the Tim Sims Encouragement Award in 1999 (for best up-and-coming comedic talent in Toronto). Nugmutter also co-wrote and recorded a radio show called He Said/She Said for CBC Radio's Brave New Waves.

Jim McAleese is a veteran stand-up comic who has worked nightclubs, college campuses and corporate events across Canada for more than 20 years. Apart from headlining his own shows, Jim has also shared the stage with such stars as Jim Carrey, Norm Macdonald, and Howie Mandel.

"Actually I started stand-up at the same Toronto club as Jim Carrey. He started about a month before me. So I figure I'll be hitting the big time in about a month from now."

His many television appearances over the years include "An Evening at the Improv", "Comics! on CBC" and "Open Mike with Mike Bullard".

His comedy can best be described as comfortable, folksy and distinctly Canadian. His favourite targets are himself and his family. His "No one gets hurt. No one gets embarrassed. They're my audience. Why would I want to hurt them? " Jim says.

In recent years he has turned his skills to the acting profession appearing in numerous commercials and feature length films.

Leo's goofy demeanor and outrageous observations have made him a mainstay on the comedy circuit for years. He lurches about the stage and delivers his diverse material with a spontaneity that takes the audience by sprprise. His stories of carnivals and water sports are legendary and his laid back personality only enhances the hilarity. Don't miss your chance to see a master perform his craft this week. One of the first-rate, young joke writers on the Canadian comedy scene,
Darryl Purvis has the ability to poke fun at the unsuspecting characters
and absurd subjects that cross his path. The kind of comic you'd welcome at your table for coffee or a pint. Purvis, through his act and his stage persona, radiates a clever blend of intelligence, insight, charm and warmth - all wrapped up in a down-home, east-coast sensibility that's embracing an urban hipness.

The Chris and Larry Show is a fast-paced, ever changing comedic experience that has two comic professionals at the helm. The audience is the ship, the ocean and the weather. Since the latter three are never the same, the meld of talent, creativity, energy and spontaneity of Chris and Larry are consistent in offering a unique event in every circumstance. Because the show caters to the audience it performs to, no two shows are ever alike!

Chris and Larry specifically challenge themselves to never duplicate any show they've ever done! Gary has been delighting audiences around North America for over 10 years. His good guy comic routine in a PG- rated easy going style has made Gary a fan favorite with audiences. A regular on Comedy at Club 54 on The Comedy Network and with Appearances on the Mike Bullard show.

TOM ANZALONE is a comedian and musician who turns his ability of singing, guitar playing and an assortment of stage props and tapes into a hilarious musical-comedy revue. Tom began his career performing in musicals and operas while pursuing his stand-up comedy routine. Anzalone's impressions and parodies range anywhere from Elvis to Michael Jackson. Whether imitating James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen or classically singing his version of "Pinball Wizard" from the rock opera Tommy to the musical stars of today like The Smashing Pumpkins, Alanis Morrisette or any other artist one might suggest, Tom has delighted audiences in comedy clubs and colleges around the country. He's filmed a segment on the " Showtime Comedy Club Network," as well as "America's Funniest People," "Comedy Central," and of course, many radio shows and theater appearances. Tom has showcased at the National Association for Campus Activities Illinois/Indiana Regional Conference in 1989, as well as, the East Coast Coffeehouse Convention in 1990. Recently, Tom has written, directed and starred in his own children and family oriented show, "Songflower Seeds" and has sung and co-written songs for a recording on A&M Records.

St. Catharines-based Tony Venditti, the "Goodfella" of standup comedy stepped onto a comedy stage for an amateur night in 1986 and has never looked back. In fact, he was hired immediately to fill in for a comedian that had cancelled the weekend's engagement.

In the past seventeen years, Tony has become one of Canada's top headline acts. His combination of material, charisma and razzamatazz have helped him earn the respect of other comedians and employers alike. His ethnicity has also been a plus in Canada's multi-cultural environment. Tony's comedy can bounce between references to his weight, his Italian heritage or his inability to master outdoor sports.

Tony Venditti has appeared several times on CHCH-TV'S "Comedy At Club 54", "Cooking With Comics" and on CTV'S Annual "Hospital For Sick Children's Telethon", at colleges and universities across Canada and at more corporate engagements than you can shake a pepperoni at.

Tony has also filmed a comedy special entitled "The Fruitopia Comedy Funfest" live from the theatre at Paramount Canada's Wonderland which is airing across the country.

If on the edge comedy is your thing Vito is one act you don't want to miss. He got off to a quick start in 1997 when he won"Funniest Guy With A Day Job" in Toronto. Vito's credits include opening for the likes of Pauly Shore, and Tommy Chung. He has appeared on numerous college campuses and clubs in North America. He was recently awarded "Funniest New Comic" in London, Ontario.

Comedian Nick Siracuse continues his reign of laughter, entertaining audiences at clubs all across North America. Nick has been writing for Jay Leno for many years and is sure to leave you Laughing! Beware those who dare sit in the front row! Nick likes to chat and has a very quick way about his comedy.

Jason Blanchard is an ex-soldier, ex-husband and ex-tremely funny. After growing up in a typical small town, this friendly and likeable comedian has matured into a versatile headlining comedic entertainer who has toured all across Canada. He has the ability to be corporate clean or cunningly crude, adapting to any venue: Comedy clubs, Corporate events, College / Universities, Festivals, Fundraisers, Military Bases and XM Satellite Radio. Jason has written for Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Cosby and Robin Williams, although they have never replied to his letters.

A spectator to everyday insanity, his show is hilariously truthful and his material is clever. Form New Jersey, Dennis is a writer for National Lampoon with that special flair for human comedy. Don’t miss him!

MIKE VENEMAN

Mike Veneman hails from Steubenville, Ohio, home of such greats as Dean Martin, Jimmy The Greek, and Frank Lopatowicz. Being from an urban setting helped Mike gain an interesting outlook on life. "Most people have a lawn in front of their house; I had a parking meter - it was my only toy as a child. I remember, on Christmas, my father would give me five nickels and tell me to really enjoy myself."

Mike ventured to Wheeling, W.Va. to attend college. He changed his major seventeen times. "Everything looked so good. I thought that animal husbandry would really hold my attention." But that was not the case. Mike graduated from Wheeling College with a degree in public administration.

Mike was restless and needed a change of scenery (the fact that he had 267 parking tickets and a warrant issued in his name also had something to do with this). So he headed back to Ohio to be nearer his favorite city - Cleveland. "Its like a big Steubenville !!" He settled in Kent and began working on a master's degree in Sport Administration - "Why not?". Completing his master's, Mike realized that he would never be able to work in the real world; college would be his fortress of solitude - "Great hours, great pay, three months vacation, and a fresh supply of eighteen year-olds every year." He was going to be a college professor. Time for the doctorate.

But how about comedy? How did he get into that? "You have got to be kidding! My life is comedy. If you lived my life you would either kill yourself or become a comedian. And since I am an abject coward, I went on stage."

BILLY WUAN

Billy Waun is a Hamilton native who has been performing stand-up comedy for quite awhile now. He's an ex- railroad worker who now finds himself as one of the fastest rising comics on the Canadian comedy club scene. Billy is also single and looking - preferably for a one night stand. He's got two grown children and simply wants to see the world.

WAYNE FLEMING

Wayne Fleming may not have invented the concept of standup comedy but he has certainly perfected it as an art form. After 25 years of entertaining crowds from coast to coast and abroad, it wouldn't be much of a stretch to say that he knows all there is to know about pleasing an audience. He is polished, professional, warm and very funny!

His ability as an impressionist had made him on of the most requested voice actors in Canada and around the world. He has countless TV appearances to his credit, including FOX TV'S "In Living Color", CBC's "COMICS", "Thick and Thin" and "Married Life", CTV's "Emergency Room' and CityTV's "Yo Canada". Wayne has also been featured in such feature films as "Switching Channels" with Kathleen Turner and Burt Reynolds, "Cocktail" with Tom Cruise, "Meatballs 3", and "Rebel High". Recently his film career has seen him appear in "Cinderella Man" with Russell Crowe & Renee Zellweger, "Fever Pitch" with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon and "Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events" with Meryl Streep and his longtime buddy Jim Carrey.

Fleming's act is a cavalcade of hilarious character representations and off-the-wall anecdotes. He has often been referred to as "The Man of a Thousand Faces". Wayne is a consummate professional whose comedy appeals to a very wide range of audiences. His witticism and playful delivery have earned him comparisons to Bob Newhart and Red Skelton.

MIKE GEORGE

Mike George is a North American coast to coast favourite. His unique style has enabled him to open for some Popular bands including: The Jeff Healy Band, Colin James, Goddo, Nazareth, Black Sabbath and many others. Being a rocker in his generation, Mike brings those life experiences to the stage as only he can. It's all Sex, Drugs and Rock 'n Roll for Mike. Not your average comedian. He's Canada's only Rock 'n Roll comedian. If there's a mike on stage Mike George will be there.

LARRY SMITH

Larry Smith is a natural born performer, starting his show business career with his first television appearance at the age of 4, on Romper Room. Throughout his childhood into his teen years Larry was very active honing his skill participating in everything from high school radio, to acting, stand up, and play writing. Larry then went on to the Theatre Arts program at Niagara College .

Larry made his Comedy debut on May 5^th 1984 at Cracker’s Comedy Club in Hamilton , Ontario . His start as a professional comedian followed shortly there after moving from Cracker’s to the, then new, Yuk Yuk’s franchise. After performing with Yuk Yuk’s for 2 years, Larry forged out as an independent comedian, working toward establishing himself as a highly sought after headliner.

Larry has been working as headliner, and part of a comedy duo, for more the 16 years. In that time he has made numerous radio and television appearances including Comedy at Club 54, Chaps Comedy, Cooking with Comics, CH TV, City TV, and the Comedy Network. Larry has also toured extensively across North America, having covered most of Canada , and the Eastern United States . Larry is very proud to have shared the stage with Sam Kinison, Gilbert Gottfreid, Blue Rodeo, Northern Pikes, among many other great performers.

Larry has produced both a Compact Disc, and Video. His repertoire includes Stand-Up, Improv, Singing, Impressions, Cartooning, and Character Acting…

PAUL WILDBAUM

Paul Wildbaum has excited audiences around the world with an
inspired repertoire of comedy, visual theatre, and audience
involvement. Described as "hilarious" and "touching" Paul
Wildbaum is a compelling performer who combines the sublime
with the ridiculous to create a brilliant cast of characters: Hamlet
as a drunk; the T.V. addict sucked into the set; a baby unsure of
being born; Death as a tragi-comedy enacted by Paul's two hands.
With an uncanny ability to involve the audience, he even creates a
spaghetti western with Paul, himself, as the villian, and audience
members playing all the other roles(even the saloon doors!). Mr
Wildbaum brings to the world's stage a unique comic vision to
involve and delight even the most jaded audience.

DAVE O'LAUGHLIN

“With a name like O’Laughlin - this guy must know something about comedy!”

Dave O'Laughlin is a regular on the Comedy Club circuit across North America. His dry wit and hilarious stage antics have had countless audiences rolling in the aisles. for an absolute gut-busting experience, don't miss this truly unique comic genius at work.

STEVE COX

Don't go see Stephen Cox if you don't want to be blasted off your seat by his wacked-out brand of Canuck humour. Don't go see him if you don't want to see the funniest impression of Jean Chretien ever performed by anyone. And, don't go see him if you're not ready to suffer some serious face cramps and a case of buzzing ears from the mountain of laughter that will undoubtedly fill the comedy club...

JEFF LEESON

Jeff Leeson been travelling as a stand up comedian for the last 6 years.

He has performed at several Yuk Yuk's clubs all over Ontario including London, Hamilton, Niagara Falls and the super club in Toronto.

Two years ago Jeff headlined his own stand up comedy tour across Ontario which encompassed 20 cities along the way.

Jeff's biggest accomplishment so far was being a quarter finalist in the very prestigious San Francisco International stand up comedy competition this past September.

MARK WALKER

Mark Walker first stepped on stage during his 7th Grade talent show. His impressions of Wolfman Jack, Richard Nixon and Henry Winkler's Happy Days' television character "The Fonz" earned him a held-over spot on the afternoon show for the grade 8 students. Since that time, Mark has gone on to become one of Canada's most celebrated comedian/voice impressionists.

Mark's act combines cleverly-written standup with a dazzling array of celebrity voices.

Mark has been featured at The Halifax Comedy Festival (as seen on CBC-TV nationally), and has appeared on CTV'S Hospital For Sick Children's Telethon, CHCH-TV'S Comedy At Club 54, CTV'S CANADA AM, CBC-TV'S bon Of The Eye and CityTV's Breakfast Television. As well, Mark recently filmed a half-hour comedy special for CBC-TV entitled "COMICS!" and appeared at the 1998 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal. He will be filming a one hour special (Comedy Now) for The Comedy Network in June of 1999.

In addition to his numerous nightclub performances, Mark is a popular attraction at college and university campuses across Canada, as well as at corporate engagements. In the post few years, he has also become a much sought after voice-over artist for commercial work.

Mark is considered one of the best impressionists in the country !

ANDREW EVANS

Life is difficult for Andrew to understand.
From the silly to the socially relevant, nothing escapes this
sarcastic Maritimer’s look at big city and pop culture absurdities.

Shortly after moving from Dartmouth in late 2001, Andrew made
an appearance on Open Mic with Mike Bullard where Mike
likened him to “Don Harron”. Ben Guyatt of Comedy at Club 54
fame says, “Andrew has a fresh approach to comedy-combining
the absurd with the cerebral, always resulting in a great solid
set…I truly believe he will become a major, comedic force in the
years ahead….”
Andrew digs deep to make the mundane fascinating, and the
complicated, simple. It is a style making him accessible to both
the audiences at the Tim Sims Playhouse in Toronto , and a
neighborhood pub in Halifax .
After winning the Laugh Resort’s funniest person with a day job
competition in Toronto , Andrew was invited to perform for the first
time at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal .

He is Angry, he is frustrated, he is sarcastic, he is edgy, he is funny.

Andrew will leave you laughing at him, yourself and the world

DOUG FUNK

Doug has been a veteran of the comedy scene for quite some time. In 1987 he studied with The Second City in Toronto and started writing and performing stand-up comedy. In early 1991 Doug moved to Vancouver where he joined the Vancouver TheatreSports League.

From 1992 until the present, Doug has performed in many TheatreSports shows including Star Trick The Musical as Captain Quirk, and a variety of school shows for which he was nominated for a Jessie Award for Best Young Adult Entertainer.

In 1998 Doug was involved in two television productions - a children's improv show called Fibi's Funny Bones and a sketch show on the Comedy Network called Slightly Bent TV which was picked up for a second season entitled Suckerpunch in which he starred and co-wrote.

Watch for Doug in comedy clubs across Canada and in the upcoming release of Air Bud IV.

Award winning and two time nominated comedian Doug Funk is a naturally skilled performer with a uniquely fresh and contagious style. Boasting many Film and Television credits and countless "Live" performances on nearly every stage in every nook and cranny of the country, Doug Funk has become one of the most prominent and versatile comics around. If you don't laugh, giggle and think about what this guy says and does, perhaps you should chat with Dr. Phil.

JOHNNY TORONTO

Johnny Toronto, comic juggler, unicyclist, has been one of the leading Canadian entertainers on the "New Vaudeville" circuit for the past 20 years. His hilarious one-person variety act has taken him around the world, from Moscow to Rio deJaneiro, Santiago de Chile to the North Pole. When not criss-crossing North America performing at festivals, fairs, university campuses and comedy clubs, he takes his "holidays" in Latin America where he performs for disaster relief shelters, orphanages, and hospitals. Johnny is a truly international act on a mission to make the world laugh!

BRIAN HOPE

Spelling mistakes frustrate him. The drinking and driving law amuses him. And you'll never look at a pack of matches again without thinking of him. Brian Hope will bring to his show high and low-brow humour and will intertwine them to a point of where it's a roller-coaster ride for the audience. Just when you think he's the cutest guy in the world (which he claims he is), he'll say something to completely take you off guard and look at him a different way.

Brian grew up in a military family – living in Montreal, Moose Jaw, Red Deer, Sacramento, Winnipeg, Ottawa and Toronto. He's worked overnight in a gas station, served Queen Elizabeth II for dinner, joined the military for 5 years and got fired at Harvey's during his first week of work. As you can see, he doesn't have to write much as his life has material written all over it. He brought his craft onstage to Ottawa in March 2000 to see if he had the “right stuff”. Started off on fire – and a wee bit tipsy. “I thought I would calm my nerves a bit by having a beer……let's just say I was REALLY calm by the time I got onstage”. His first time up was one that he will never remember, but heard was hilarious.

Brian has made audiences howl in Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo, New York City – and we can't forget about Peterborough……and is only getting better by the day. Roy Day is a Jamaican born, Canadian raised stand-up comic who's styling reflects both his North American upbringing and his spicy Caribbean heritage.

His show is interactive, quick and smart. Roy is definitely a crowd pleaser who has performed at all the major comedy clubs throughout North America.

COLLETTE KENDALL

Colette's humour is candid, smart, tongue-in-cheek and right on the mark. She says out loud what most of us have the common sense to keep to ourselves. Colette has trained in improvisation with The Second City and has been a member of both the Hamilton Staircase Theatre and Bad Dog theatre mainstage casts. She has appeared in several festival bound independent features and performs stand-up regularly throughout Southern Ontario. The Montreal, Ottawa and London Fringe festivals are just the beginning of what Colette hopes will evolve into a cross Canada tour.

RICK LEMIEUX

Rick will have you falling off of your seat as he draws you into his world of zaniness. High energy and a fantastic wit make this act a hard one to follow. The jokes come hard and fast at the expense of his family, friends and better half - all feel Rick's comedic wrath!

Originally from the east coast, now residing on beautiful Bloor St. in Toronto, nice. Young Rodney enjoys performing comedy more than sex, that's right, sex. (It's true.) Now you understand the type of energy this man brings each and every night. Rodney is a comic crockpot stirring up spicy pop culture gumbo, his De Niro and Cosby sidedishes are to die for. Both come a la carte and without apology. Ahhh, it's gravy.

DAVE CORNEL

Since 1995 David Cornel has been wowing audiences in places as far away as Los Angeles, California, to Iqaluit, Nunavut. Sometimes silly, sometimes dark, and often cynical, David pokes at the crazy things in our modern world, with a very small stick! When David is done, his audience feels as if they know him. His laid back, conversational style puts his audience at ease while his ability to tell a story makes it seem as if you were listening to a friend - a very funny friend.

JEFF ELLIOTT

Jeff Elliott has quickly made a name for himself as one of the most clever joke writers on the Toronto Comedy Scene. Graduate of the Conservatory program at The Second City. Winner of “Funniest Person with a Day Job Contest” at the Laugh Resort in Toronto, which earned him a spot at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Having grown up in a blue-collar town but always wanting to see and do more. Jeff has a certain wide-eyed vulnerability and absurdist viewpoint to the world around him and therefore his comedy. But don’t let his slow, dry, laid back delivery fool you. Behind all that lays a clever writer with a razor sharp wit and impeccable timing. Willing to make fun of anything in his path. Making him a hilarious treat to watch.

RON JOSUL

Ron is a struggling stand up comic. Despite being known as the Filipino cross of Ray Romano and The Rock, he just can't seem to catch a break. To make things worse, he just got dumped, his mother just fell ill, so he goes back to Winnipeg to do the right thing: take over the family business, The Tropical Palms Medical Rehabilitation Centre to nurse his mom back to health.

DARRYL MAKK

Daryl Makk has been doing stand-up comedy for over 11 yrs and has been delighting and educating audiences all the way.

Born and raised on the isolated Canadian prairies, where he was secluded from the everyday rat race , Daryl's stand-up comedy allows us to share his frustration with the world.

His act is always an hilarious exercise of trying to understand the confusion and mess we have made. His stand-up comedy can be clean or you can get the full uncensored deal. Either way his down home, clever style will keep you howling with laughter.

From political correctness, to relationships, or the trouble with today’s youth, Daryl points out the lies and hypocrisy, that is the illusion, of what many have come to accept as the norm. A unique style of stand-up comedy, his show can be tailor made for almost any audience or function.

SHELLEY MARSHALL

"We love you, Shelley!" writes producer Mo Ozdemir of the Toronto's version of "Last Comic Standing" and how could you not? After graduating from Second City Shelley has burst onto the Toronto Comedy scene (and out of her dress) like no other before her.

Shelley uses the stage like a cheap leather couch at a Mental Health drop in clinic. From her childhood flashbacks to her present day panty flashes...Shelley has no fear on stage. Her stand up is theatrical, raw and captivating. She simply says what we all think.

Glenn Sumi of Toronto's Now Magazine writes this... "Then, suddenly, it happens. Two or three comics rise above the rest. Shelly Marshall , who seems to be channelling Karen Walker from Will & Grace, bitches about her teenage kids, puts a unique spin on a Slim Fast joke and goes out with a physical bit that requires major courage. I could totally see her on a professional stage."

BRENDA LENNIE

Brenda Lennie has appeared on Television’s Comedy at Club 54, She’s So Funny and on CBC Radio’s So, You Think You’re Funny. She is also a graduate of Second City’s school of improv and has won awards for comedic acting. Smart and silly, shifting from low to high energy at any given moment, audiences relate to her truthful quirky personality. Brenda Lennie personifies the term, “acting out”.

DAN PORDUM

Dan Pordum has been doing comedy for over fifteen years. His honest observational style has been delighting audiences all over the country and his ability to adapt to any situation whether a comedy club or a Corporate event has made him a favorite with agents and bookers throughout the United States and Canada. Always a professional, he prides himself on always being able to
give 100% in any situation.

TODD VAN ALLEN

Todd Van Allen brings a lot to the table. He is veteran stand-up comic, a professional Master of
Ceremonies, and an extremely likeable guy who will get your audience excited and involved in the
show from the very first minute. Drawing on very relatable material based on his own life as well
as topics found in the news, Todd’s act touches on current events, life at the office, and the
hilarious differences between the big city and the small towns in which he grew up. Extremely
quick-witted, Todd is an expert at making on-the-spot, astute and very funny observations based
on conversations with your audience.

DAVE PATTERSON

This hot young newcomer first hit the comedy stage in 2003 and despite the pain (and mockery) has continued performing. Building a loyal following while raising many an eyebrow, Dave has honed his funnycraft in various clubs in and around Ontario and Western New York. This Peterborough-raised comic has a personable, intelligent, sometimes subtle, but always likable stage persona.

Dave takes his audiences to the edge, but not quite over it, making them laugh at things they know they probably shouldn’t. Whether ranting about family, relationships, or his continuing quest to try to get his life in order, Dave consistently gets audiences roaring and always leaves them entertained.

MARC SINODINOS

Marc Sinodinos is the 2005 Canadian College Comedy Award Winner and he is considered to be one of the most original and well versed comics in Canada. Some people think he's offensive, some think he's a genius, most find him hilarious. Marc is known for having some of the most ridiculous and thought provoking material. Edgy, silly, unique and clever are just some words that describe one of the most requested comics in Canada.
